Este importante cambio para el derecho laboral implic\u00f3 la modificaci\u00f3n de los feriados en Costa Rica, por lo que, a partir de su publicaci\u00f3n, se dejar\u00e1 de celebrar el 12 de octubre (D\u00eda del Encuentro de Culturas) y se conmemorar\u00e1 el 1 de diciembre (D\u00eda de la Abolici\u00f3n del Ej\u00e9rcito).
