completed a complex process of industrial property recovery for Spanish fashion
multinational Mango, in which an effective vindication of its trademarks in
Costa Rica was achieved.  The process
included actions for annulation, notoriety recognition, trademark penetration,
counteracting local users with conflicting interests, all which permitted,
after many years of the multinational’s presence in the country being forced to
use an alternative brand, to finally be able to use its main trademark to
distinguish and identify its stores and merchandise.
