Enactment of the Regulation to Regulate Telework in Costa Rica

On December 20th, 2019 the Regulation to Regulate Telework was enacted.

 

Such a new regulation complements the existing Law to Regulate Telework by establishing the minimum conditions that govern the labor relationships that develop under the teleworking modality.

 

Among the matters included in this new Regulation are the prior obligations to the implementation of telework for employees, the employment contract and its addendum, conditions whenever entering into telework, employee´s duties and the possibility to revoke telework.
